Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data envy (“the bot”, “we”, “our”) collects, how it is stored, and how it is utilized when you use the bot within any Discord server.

envy collects and persists only the data needed to operate its core features:

• Discord server (guild) IDs
• Discord user IDs
• Server configurations (custom prefixes, aliases, disabled commands)
• Leveling stats (XP, levels, and user progression metrics)
• Moderation records created through the bot (such as warnings)

We do not collect, read, log, or store the content of your messages. envy processes message content transiently in memory strictly when required to trigger a command execution, and never saves that text to a database.

Collected data is used exclusively to operate envy's features — such as remembering your custom guild setup, tracking XP progress, and maintaining moderation history. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to external entities.

Data is stored in a Supabase-hosted database infrastructure. Supabase acts as our database hosting provider and does not have independent rights to access your data beyond hosting it on our behalf. We employ standard technical safeguards to protect stored information.

Server configuration and user statistics are retained for as long as envy remains in your server. When envy leaves a server, we run periodic cleanups to clear orphaned data.

To request early or manual deletion of your server or personal user data, you can reach out directly via our support server.

The primary third-party service used for backend storage is Supabase. We do not run third-party tracking scripts, advertising networks, or analytics tools. Discord itself operates independently under Discord's Privacy Policy .

envy is intended for use in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service , which specifies minimum age requirements. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under Discord's allowed age thresholds.

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Any significant revisions will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” timestamp at the top of this page. Continued usage of envy after changes are published constitutes agreement to the updated policy.
